Who are We?
Your Domain Trade is owned by W3Now. We established Your Domain Trade to assist our clients, and anyone else who wishes to buy and sell domain names easily online.
How Does it Work?
When a domain name is sold directly from Your Domain Trade, the money is paid to W3Now (W3Now owns Your Domain Trade). W3Now holds the money and notifies the seller that the domain name has sold. We will assist the seller in transferring the domain name into the buyer's name. Once this is done, and the buyer's ownership displays in the public Whois directory, the money (minus fees) will be transferred to the domain name seller.
This is the safest way to purchase and sell domain names; as it helps to protect both the buyer and seller when there is a trusted 3rd party to assist with the transaction.
Purchasing a Domain Name
When you purchase your domain name at Your Domain Trade, you pay the money via a credit card transaction directly to W3Now (W3Now owns Your Domain Trade). W3Now holds your money and notifies the seller that the domain name has sold. We will assist the seller in transferring the domain name into your name as owner. Once this is done, and your ownership displays in the Whois directory, the money (minus any fees) will be transferred to the domain name seller.
Selling a Domain Name
When you sell your domain name at Your Domain Trade, you pay nothing in advance; the listing is free (we decide whether to accept your domain name listing). Posting a listing with a price for your domain name automatically means this is the price you are willing to accept for the domain name. If someone purchases your domain name directly on YourDomainTrade.com for this amount, the price is no longer negotiable; You must immediately transfer the domain name into the buyer's name.
If someone makes an offer to purchase your domain name, W3Now will notify you of the offer amount. Should you decide to accept his offer amount, W3Now will notify and collect payment from the buyer. Once the buyer has paid the agreed-upon amount, then the price is no longer negotiable, and you must immediately transfer the domain name into the buyer's name. W3Now can assist you with this, if needed.
Once the buyer's name is showing in the public Whois database as the domain owner, then W3Now will pay you the selling price, minus fees. Payments are made once each month, so your payment should arrive within 4-6 weeks.
Warning! Never directly pay a seller for a domain name! Once the seller has your money, they may not actually transfer the domain name into your name. YourDomainTrade.com is the safest way to buy and sell domain names.
Fees
W3Now charges 10% of the domain name selling price, or $25, whichever is higher. This includes fees for our web listing services as well as fees for holding the money in an Escrow-like fashion, assistance in transferring the domain name, and all credit card and other money transfer fees.
A $25 fee is charged if you optionally elect to list your domain name on the home page of YourDomainTrade.com. This fee is paid in advance of your listing being placed on the home page. We will send you an email "invoice" for this service, where you can click to pay securely online. This fee is not refundable for any reason, including failure of your domain name to sell.
There are no additional Escrow fees, like other companies charge. Once the transaction is successful, the purchase price, minus the fee, is paid to the seller.
Domain Transfer Time Limit
If, after a buyer has paid for a domain name, the domain transfer does not successfully occur within 90 days, then the transaction is called-off. In this case, 100% of the the money is refunded to the buyer's credit card account, and the seller will no longer be eligible to sell domains at YourDomainTrade.com. A derogatory review will be posted for the seller. In this case, any credit card, check-cashing fees or other fees incurred by the seller or buyer are the sole responsiblity of the seller or buyer. W3Now will only refund the exact amount the potential buyer initially paid to the buyer's original credit card.
In the case that the buyer disputes the credit card charge, or causes a charge-back of the amount paid, then the entire transaction is called-off. W3Now will post a derogatory review and legally report unethical or illegal buyer or seller actions.
